Where Can We Use Tubular Particle Boards

We use tubular particle boards in many decoration products today. We use particle boards in decoration and in the construction of many buildings. The usage areas of solid chipboards are quite wide.

Particle board is a very durable material. We produce chipboards with bonding wood particles with glue. The machine mix the glues with wood chips. And heated under high pressure to form chipboard sheets. The most common use is in the door and furniture industry. Wood sector uses chipboards in all areas which wherever they use woods. The cost of chipboard is lower than solid wood. It is also much easier to use than solid wood. So, people prefer it.

The furniture sector uses MDF and chipboard intensively. It is frequently used in bedrooms, sitting groups and cabinets. It is also used in the production of kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

Tubular Chipboards are generally preferred in the door sector. Door companies use tubular particle board as a door filling material. Tubular particle board is more durable than paper as a filling material. Its strength is more. It is lighter than solid wood. It is easy to transport and install. It also has fire resistance properties. They have a duration of 30 minutes and up to 60 minutes against fire.

In some countries, people use very thick chipboards in the construction industry. Some pallet manufacturers use thick tubular particle board in pallet production. Hollow core chipboards reduce the production cost of pallets.

Chipboards make sound insulation. They are using inside of doors for producing more sound-permeable ones.

Usage Areas Of Particle Boards in Decoration

Decoration is an unlimited field. In decorations, chipboards appear in every area from the kitchen to the bathroom. Especially, people prefer MDF for producing bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Generally, the use of MDF in kitchens and bathrooms is quite reasonable. Bathroom and kitchen cabinets should be durable against humidity. It is very important because they expose humidity very much. Besides, we see living room furniture produced with MDF. Producers prefer to use MDF for manufacturing stylish furniture and dining room sets.

The difference between solid wood and chipboard

Solid wood boards are formed by cutting large tree stumps. In order for the board to be large in size, the tree stump used must be very wide. While producing wooden boards from here, we get too much wastes. These wastes increase the cost.

To produce a wide wood board, many boards must be joined by gluing. Then it is cut according to the desired size and production is started. These are cost-increasing factors.

It is formed by gluing chipboard wood chips. For this reason, even the smallest scrap of wood is not wasted. Very large sized sheets can be produced. These plates are used by cutting into desired sizes. Thus, the amount of waste is close to zero.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MDF AND CHIPBOARD

The word meaning of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) means medium density fiberboard. With chipboard, the production procedures are basically the same.

  1. The properties of wood chips used in MDF and chipboard are different.
  2. MDF is produced under higher pressure than particleboard.
  3. MDF is more durable compared to chipboard.
  4. The density of MDF is higher than that of chipboard.

Chipboard has become an indispensable part of our lives. Its usage area is increasing day by day. With the development of technology, the technical features of chipboard are also developing. In time, it will be possible to see chipboards produced with different features in the market.
